A Technocratic Autocracy/Digital Dictatorship can now be a Surveillance State thanks to technology.

  • Peoples Republic of China's Social Credit System is a already a reality.
  • Earlier, it wasnt possible for an autocracy to be a Surveillance state because of limitations in personnel, understanding of psychology and huge data processing effort needed
  • Now, thanks to technology for surveillance (Cameras, Wearables, etc), deep understanding of Human psychology and AI/Data Science/ML for processing, its a real possibility
  • Not inevitable but dangerously possible
